TMDE Management eXchange
Purpose
The TMDE Management eXchange is a tool to assist units with identifying and ensuring that all
MTOE items that should be enrolled in TMDE are actually enrolled. The database compares a unit’s
property book and associated SKO data with TB 43-180.
Capabilities
The following are some of the capabilities currently built into TMX:
- Integrates and cross-references TB 43-180 with a units property book and associated SKO data
- Provides the following reports
o A list of items not enrolled on the IMRF
o A list of items requiring calibration
o A list of delinquent items
o A delinquency projection report where the user can select the number of days to project out
o A TMDE Roll-up Summary report the shows the IMRF Count, In-Shop Count, CBU Count, CNR Count, Delinquent Count, Availability Rate, Delinquency Rate, and the total Items Not Enrolled
- Import functionality for PBUSE, 43-180, Force Tree, Master List, SKO data, and In-Shop list
Disclaimers about TMX:
- TMX compares your property book with the SKO data and TB 43-180. So if the property book says you have 5 tool kits, and the SKO says that each kit has one torque wrench; then TMX will assume that you have 5 torque wrenches. It has no way of knowing if you have property book shortages.
- Sometimes things are listed on the property book under one NIIN, but enrolled in TMDE under another NIIN (GRM’s often fall into this category). In this case, TMX would show that your GRM’s are not enrolled.
- Small Arms gages are not listed in TMX as either enrolled or not enrolled due to fact that they aren’t end items on the property book, nor are they components of an end item listed in the SKO data.
